Hampton Roads Pride, TRDance, Actor’s Workshop of Virginia and NorfolkARTS proudly present:
(A Special Return Performance to Norfolk, VA) April 14 & 15 Only!
Hampton Roads Pride Night Out – World Premiere Play “Angel on Eros” selected to go to the International Play Festival in Ireland in May – Playwright/Actor Ricardo Melendez (Equity) brings this special showing back for LGBTQ+ audiences before they take it to Ireland and represent LGBTQ Virginians and Hampton Roads.
As local actor, playright, and Equity Actor, Ricardo Melendez takes his new play written in Norfolk, Virginia to the International Dublin Gay Theatre Festival in May, this is an opportunity for a last-look at this new production and help raise money to take this show on tour!
*Saturday evening’s performance will include a champagne reception immediately following the performance with Actor and Playwright Ricardo Melendez sponsored by Hampton Roads Pride.
Angel on Eros takes a look at a friendship between two men of differing sexual orientation and offers a view into the transactional nature of human interactions. Framed inside the business of the arts, this play journeys into a world of human disillusion, self-discovery, and acceptance.
