“Unleash Your Pride” Theme Sets Stage for Most Inclusive Weekend Yet

NORFOLK, VA — Hampton Roads Pride officially revealed the star-studded lineup and new features for Pride Weekend 2025, happening June 20–22. The announcement was made during a high-energy Reveal Party at Waterside District, where this year’s bold theme, “Unleash Your Pride,” was also unveiled.

Celebrating its 37th year, Hampton Roads Pride continues to be the largest LGBTQIAP+ celebration in Virginia. This year’s campaign calls on the community to resist with joy, celebrate identity, and unite in love, visibility, and strength.

“This year, it is more important than ever for us to be visible and joyful and to celebrate our wonderful community,” said Jeff Ryder, President of Hampton Roads Pride. “Despite challenges in the current climate, our commitment to a free and welcoming Pride celebration remains stronger than ever.”

Community Support Needed

Due to reductions in federal and corporate DEI funding, Hampton Roads Pride is calling on individuals to help sustain the mission and keep events free and open to all.

“Your generosity allows us to keep Pride free and accessible for everyone,” said Ryder. “Please consider donating, so that Hampton Roads can continue to have the spectacular pride celebration we are known for.”
